Vanilla Sponge Cake – Recipe For Your Thermomixer

This is the softest, fluffiest, most delicious sponge cake. This recipe for the vanilla sponge cake has been converted for you to make in your Thermomix. It is one of the components to making Sia's Mums Christmas Trifles. Start by making the port wine jelly, then this sponge cake and then finally putting together the trifle itself. Of course you could always just make the sponge cake and eat it as is too.

I have made two items so far from the cook book. The traditional greek yogurt, so yummy and so easy. I was happy I could make it thicker than I usually buy it. I also made the rice pudding which was amazing and also very easy. I normally don’t like rice pudding so was very happy with the recipe.
