
Thermomix Turmeric Chicken
Have you ever tried steaming chicken in your Thermomix? It makes the chicken soft, moist and it just melts in your mouth. If you put some baking paper on the steaming tray then place the chicken on top it will help to keep any flavours you add on the chicken. I especially love this turmeric chicken recipe to accompany a salad.
The flavour combination was inspired after my cousins Lena's wedding in Sydney. The day after Lena’s wedding, we went to Theo Charlie’s house for lunch. I loved how he used a combination of different flavours in his chicken. The chicken was then cooked on the souvla (charcoal barbecue) however it can also be grilled or steamed.
This chicken makes a great addition to a salad. We like adding it to tabouli, pomegranate brown rice salad or the sweet green salad with cranberries.

However a list of ingredients is provided to help you with your shopping list and meal planning (especially helpful if you use the paprika recipe app) and also some tips.

- chicken tenderloins

COOKING TIP
- Try steaming rice and vegetables at the same time to make a complete meal.
- Different cuts of chicken can be used however the cooking time may vary.
- Use the spicy mayonnaise as a dipping sauce for turmeric chicken
