This is a recipe for a delicious paleo porridge you can make in your Thermomix. This is a grain free option for when you are looking for a warm breakfast or snack to enjoy. It is very filling and with all those healthy fats included in it, you will be fuller for longer!
I know one dish many people miss when going gluten free, paleo or completely grain free is porridge. With out oats, how do you make porridge!? I've tried a couple of chia seed variations and even a flax seed version but the blend of these ingredients with a dash of the almond meal and coconut really brings this dish alive! I really enjoy it topped with some fresh fruits. You can see how I serve it in this video:
Delicious Paleo Porridge
20g shredded or desiccated coconut
25g almond meal
10g flax seeds
10g chia seeds
1 tsp ground cinnamon
235g coconut or almond milk
1 tsp honey, optional Fruit for garnish
1. Add all ingredients to the bowl avoiding the blades: coconut (20g), almond meal (25g), flax seeds (10g), chia seeds (10g), cinnamon (1 tsp), milk (235g) and honey (1 tsp), if using.
2. Heat 6 minutes/90 degrees/ reverse/speed 2.
3. Garnish with seasonal fruit or berries.
