Chrystalla will continue to bring you amazing recipes, inspiration and passion for Thermomix cooking. She is a very talented recipe developer and extremely passionate about what she does. I will be cheering from the sidelines as I watch Chrystalla grow Fayi into the next phase of it's journey.
But if it's ok, I'd like to take a quick trip down memory lane and reminisce on some the special moments that we spent together building Fayi Cookbooks:
We published our very first recipe about 3 years ago and now have 4 ebooks, and two print books over 200 converted recipes on the Fayi blog….
There have been so many memorable moments… like the time we met George Calombaris gave him a copy of our Mezze Cookbook:
and the time that we won the “Best Baklava Competition” at Brisbane's Paniyiri Festival:
Meeting and collaborating with lots of amazing bloggers including Cooking with Tenina, Bec & Joe from The 4 Blades, Life with Lailah Rose, Nikalene Riddle Skinnymixers, Jo and Tracey Additive Free Lifestyle, The Merry Maker Sisters, Jessie Reimers, Peta TRTLMT, Leonie Cavill ThermoFun and Tanya Halse Aussie TM5 Thermomixer. I know that there are few more amazing people who I want to add to this list… but I can't find photos of us together. So I will PM you and thank you personally xx:
We hosted cooking classes together, live events, demonstrations, fate stalls, podcast, radio and video interviews:
We celebrated when our first book shipment arrived, and then spent hours and hours of packing, wrapping and shipping them all out to the wonderful people who purchased a book from us before we had even written it. Thank you to all of our amazing fans and readers who trusted us and supported us when we just had a simple vision and an idea. Through your support we turned our dream into a reality. Thank you..
Then, our Mezze Cookbook won bronze place in the Independent Publisher Book Awards in 2017. We were so proud of this achievement 🙂
And we did all of this whilst juggling two babies (each), family commitments, and our crazy busy life as mums…
It was so much fun!!
I will treasure every moment of this journey.
Thank you very much for supporting me throughout the years.
I will be eternally grateful for this experience.
