Almond Flour
If you would like to make almond flour, this is best to be done with blanched almonds. Here are the steps:

- Add the dried, blanched almonds to the bowl.

Tip: For a finer almond flour, only mill for an extra 1 second of time. If the almonds are milled for too long or on a speed that is too high then it will release oil from the nut and turn into a nut butter.
What's the Difference Between Almond Meal & Almond Flour?
Almond meal and almond flour both consist of ground almonds. However Almond meal is generally still has it skin on so you'll see flecks of skin in the meal. It is also a bit coarser than flour. Almond flour is usually made from blanched almonds (almonds without the brown skin) and milled to a finer consistency.
According to the kitchn website, it is better to use almond flour when making a nice, fluffy cake. It will ensure that the cake has a lighter texture. It is ok to use either almond flour or almond meal when making recipes such as cookies, brownies or quick breads.
