
CHOCOLATE BUTTERCREAM – THERMOMIX RECIPE
Here is a recipe for Chocolate Buttercream for your Thermomix. You can use this to decorate cakes or cupcakes and it can even be frozen for later use. Add more or less icing sugar to make it to your preferred consistency depending on what you will be using it for.
CHOCOLATE BUTTERCREAM
INGREDIENTS
- 400g icing sugar
- 500g soft butter, roughly chopped
- 100g milk – use more for a thinner consistency
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp cocoa
STEPS
- Attach the butterfly to the blades. Add icing sugar (400g), soft butter (500g), milk (100g), vanilla extract (2 tsp) and cocoa (1 tbsp). Blend 2 minutes/speed 4 or until evenly mixture is well blended. Scrape down sides as needed, usually every 30 seconds.
- Use as needed.
NOTES
- Ensure your butter is soft or you will not be able to blend it well with the butterfly.
