Here is an outline of all the recipes I used for my high tea cake table. I'm sure there are many other recipes you could use but these were the top few on my list. It also catered for a few of my gluten free friends as well.
- Scones – you can replace the flour for gluten free flour if needed. I prefer the orgran brand
- Straberry Jam – I like to blend mine up at the end so its a bit smoother
- Clotted cream – mine only took 20 seconds so be careful!
- Sandwiches: egg & Mayo, cucumber cream cheese, ham & mustard – choose any flavours you like. You can make these the day before as well if you wet a thin chucks sponge, squeeze out the excess water, then cover the sandwiches. This will keep them from drying out.
- Lemon curd meringues topped with strawberries
- Salted Caramel tart – stay tuned for my recipe
- Bougatsa custart roll
- Chocolate mousse
- Almond biscuits
- Macarons – I actually didn't make these this time. I know you can but I had so much to cook in such a short time that I put this on the shopping list instead
- Gluten Free Orange Cake
- Vasilopita
- Rose Biscuits
- Chocolate brownie
- Lollie pops with gold edible flakes
- Butter cream for Vanilla sponge cake
- Tahini for Hummus
- Fortune cookies: with motivational? Dares? Jokes?
- Lollie jars: musks, marshmallows, Ferror rochers,
- Mini pastries: spinach, olive and cheese
- Fudge: salted caramel and chocolate
