“It is my husband’s birthday this week and he has a sweet tooth! He told me not to buy him a birthday present this year. So, instead of a gift, I plan to make him all of his favourite treats. I will pack a selection of these 5 sweets in his lunch box so that he can take it to work for the next week or two.
My husband loves chocolate, choc mint and caramel. However, he is very fussy and does not like to eat cheesecake, sorbet or anything with fruit mixed – never ever offer him fruit and nut chocolate! If you know of any other sweets my husband might like, please leave a recipe link in the comments! I’d love to try your suggestions.”

5 Sweet Recipes You Must Try In Your Thermo Mixer:
1. Salted Caramel Fudge
This salted caramel fudge recipe is amazing. It is always a conversation starter at a party. Usually the bowl of fudge is eaten fairly quickly and then everyone asks for the recipe. The recipe was recommended to me by 4 different people before I tried it. Now, I make it for every special occasion. The recipe was originally converted by Robyn on Forum Thermomix. Here is the recipe link: Salted Caramel Fudge
2. Triple Chocolate Muffins
This recipe by Pippa is published on the Thermomix Recipe Community as Double Choc Chip Muffins. However, I add in white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate bits – this makes it triple choc! Here is the recipe link: Double Triple Choc Chip Muffins
3. Chocolate Peanut Butter Bliss Balls
There are so many different types of bliss ball recipes to choose from. My hubby loves chocolate and he loves peanut butter so this one was a ‘must try’ on my list. The recipe was originally published by Mixing Adventures and has a 5 star rating on the Thermomix Recipe Community. Here is the recipe link: Chocolate Peanut Butter Bliss Balls
4. Decadent Dark Chocolate Brownie
The decadent chocolate brownie is my go to recipe if we are ever craving something rich and really chocolaty. It is featured in the Everyday Cooking For Thermomix Families Cookbook & Chip but it is also a free download when you sign up to the Thermomix Recipe Platform. Ask your consultant if you want more information about this recipe.
5. Risogalo
I have already made risogalo twice this week. My husband seems to be eating it for breakfast, afternoon snacks and also dessert. I plan to make it one more time for his birthday this week but then it will go back to being a ‘monthly’ treat. Risogalo is really creamy, sweet and delicious. It is one of my favourite recipes from our cookbook MEZZE.
To get access to the recipe for risogalo you would normally need to purchase a copy of our cookbook MEZZE. However, since we are celebrating a special occasion, I will send a FREE recipe card out to anyone who emails a Happy Birthday message to my husband.
